
Here is an unprofessional photo from the race on Sunday. In this picture I am riding the pain train! This is one of many images where I am starting to think this is where the unbelievable leg pain originated from. After a programed rest day yesterday today was a train day. I headed out to Lake Natoma with high hopes of running 11 miles. I settled for a S-L-O-W mostly mentally painful 7.3 miles. Today felt blah....I woke up still very sore, the pain usually sets in for me on post day two, this was confirmed today. Woke up in pain, sour stomach, not going to be a good run. Its amazing how fast you get comfortable in gear as well. I only have one running skirt which I have joined the "swear by running skirt crew". This morning both my running skirt and my single pair of toe socks were dirty ;( Another excuse why this run was destined for failure. Even the recovery day was spent cleaning and packing up the house...oh did I mention moving is a HORRIBLE experience?!
The alarm is set, the bag is packed...tomorrow I head for lap swim at o' dark thirty (0530). I asked D to write me a workout, he asked what distance I wanted, I foolishly replied "suprise me". Stupid idea, I am set out for 2600 meters. BAHHA lets see how far I make it!
